Romanian Bioinformatics Cluster
The CRB is a not-for-profit organization with a federated structure, founded by Romanian universities, research and medical organizations, and professional societies to advance bioinformatics in Romania. Its goal is to enhance data value and improve access to bioinformatics tools and training, through national interoperability and collaboration with ELIXIR.
CRB provides support and services to partner entities for utilizing and developing existing resources within each institution.
We coordinate and participate in bioinformatics research projects, focusing on developing software solutions, regulations, and protocols for biological data management and analysis. We ensure interoperability with European infrastructure.
We invest time and effort in training programs, such as seminars, workshops and hands-on courses, to facilitate effective and independent use of our services.
Data, tools and training are three key areas of involvement.
Scientists from various research domains work together on development of specialised services tailored to the specific needs of their respective research domains.
